Dr. Matherly received her DDS degree from the University of Maryland in 2004. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association and the Howard County Dental Association. Dr. Matherly annually participates in many continuing education courses in order to broaden her knowledge of the latest techniques and procedures. Dr. Matherly's interests include helping people with anxieties about their dental treatment and those with dental phobias. She is able to make them feel comfortable throughout their treatment and is known for her gentle touch. Patients from two to ninety-two have experienced her warm, caring and empathetic demeanor. Dr. Matherly is an avid hiker and skier and enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and their two children.
